Battle tank driving - STANDARD

Feel what it's like to drive & operate a heavily armoured, Soviet T-55 battle tank. Welcome to our off-road militaryarea and tank driving base near Prague where your personal tank driving lesson awaits you! After an introductory training video, climb aboard and take your position in the control cabin. Our experienced instructor drives the first 5 minutes himself and then you take your position in the control cabin. Our team patiently guide you through the operating procedures as you take command of the controls and drive the battle tank over rough and varied terrain.

Feel the cold metal against your skin, the smell of tank fuel and the deafening roar of the engine as you experience the unsurpassed strength of this gigantic vehicle. After this exhilarating experience, you will be brought back to earth with a guided tour of tanks and other military vehicles and weapons including VT-55 Tanks, BRDM, OT-64, BMP-1 Armoured Personnel Carriers as well as an original SA6 soviet rocket carrier.

Program includes:

Welcome and registration
Hire of military clothing for driver (pants, jacket)
Tank driver training (either by video or live demonstration)
T-55 Tank driving - 30 minutes*
Always accompanied by experienced instructors for guidance and support
Guided tour of our tanks and other military vehicles

For safety reasons, spectators are not permitted during this event
*Tank driving times include 5 minutes instructor driving. Clients drive for 25 minutes.

T-55 AM2 Russian Battle tank

This upgrade incorporates most of the improvements carried out in the 80s to some T-55 MBTs operated by the former Warsaw Pact (see T-54/T-55 entry) with the exception of the ability to fire the Russian-designed and built 100 mm laser-guided projectile.
